I'm open to different directions, but my idea was to do a JB in a similar way to how I have it now, but more angular or modern and fresh looking in some way. I had this idea to emulate the geographic jewelry I put in the attachments, but I'm not exactly sure how that would turn out.
Mainly I just want the icon adjusted. Don't worry about color, but if you do need to use color please use Gold. Otherwise use black.
If you want to take any liberties and try some completely new ideas, I'm open to that. But please at least try the angular design that emulates the jewelry in one or two versions.
Let me know if you have any questions!
PS, I have a ton of design work through a company I run. if you're interested, and if we work well together, we could potentially bring you on for as many hours a week as you have to spare. How many hours do you have available currently?

I would like my logo refreshed to reflect the attached piece of jewelry as an inspiration for the icon at the center, between Justin and Blaney. Please send any examples of how you see this being implemented.
The idea is to do a geometric version of the JB that is inspired by these geometric gold pieces of jewelry. I want something that will be as timeless as possible because this will go on book covers that will be around for a long time. it needs to look good large and small, because its also used as an APP icon, and used a lot in a small format on phone websites.
