Potential customers\tenants of Texas Deepwater are mid to large companies with substantial business operations. They could be local, regional, national, or internationally headquartered with operations in Houston. The location is well suited to service the petro chemical industry and/or off shore drilling activities in the Gulf of Mexico.

Texas Deepwater is served by 2 class one railroads, has excellent truck access to major Interstate and regional roadways (I-10 East and Beltway 8), and pipeline availability to two major pipelines. It is in close proximity to businesses that serve national and international customers from manufacturing, fabrication, and distribution facilities.

The top three things to be conveyed are that Texas Deepwater is a: 1) gateway to middle-America; 2) offers a truly Intermodal facility; 3) and is located on the Houston Ship Channel on the Texas Gulf Coast.

What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

The client has expressed an interest in developing a mark that integrates the four points of a compass (N,S,E,W) with iconic symbols that represent the different transportation and distribution modes served by the park, Ship, Truck, Rail, plus warehousing. This is a suggestion only and the client will look to acquirea mark that has the greatest graphic appeal, which could be a concept that is simple, but memorable. Ideally, the graphic mark could stand alone and be recognizable with or without the name associated with it. In most cases, the name will be attached to the logo mark.

The Color palette is open but needs to be a strong foundation and should include blue.

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

The logo will be used on Websites, Printed Materials, Trade Show Exhibits, Signage, Vehicle Application, Letterhead, Business Cards, Contracts, Electronic Documents, and E-mail Correspondence in Color and Black and White. It will need to be able to besized down to a readable format to be included on E-mail signatures or other small correspondence without image loss.
