What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Glyph Consulting & Grant Writing

What is your industry?

Consulting and Professional Services

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

1. I'm looking for something that fuses professionalism with a strong creative flair. Something suited to a creative firm.
2. I would like the design to feel warm and approachable.
3. Would love to see an original glyph, icon, or symbol as core part of logo.

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

https://debrasilvermanastrology.com/ I like font used, design, colors. Feels clean, balanced, and friendly.
http://www.thekitchn.com/ - simplicity, handmade and warm feeling. Happy.
https://www.manduka.com/ - example of symbol/icon that I like. I like the hand-drawn quality.
http://threeleafconcepts.com/ - this feels very integrated to me. I like how the tagline is done.
http://joyinmotion.co/ - I like the way the text is done and the fact that there's a symbol (but I don't really like the symbol itself - messy)
https://twitter.com/SkollGlobal?ref_src=... - I like the prominent, abstract symbol as well as the font. However, I'm not real keen on the color gradient.

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

About the firm: The majority of our clients are either environmental nonprofits or arts nonprofits. We serve artists and ecowarriors who are making the world a better place. Ideally I would like a design that resonates for both eco-conscious people and creatives. Im not opposed to something organic, as long as its not sloppy. A couple of specific points: I would like the word glyph to stand out and be larger/separate from consulting & grant writing. I would like the ampersand symbol "&" to be used, rather than the word "and". I would also like the font to be something that I can use for other applications (e.g. website headings). I would like to be provided with the name of the font/typeface used. Thank you!
