LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Fan the Fire Magazine is a monthly magazine and daily blog about film, music, art and style, plus a little tv and games on the side. You can find the monthly downloadable magazine here: http://www.fanthefiremagazine.com and the blog here: http://www.fanthefireblog.com (although both will be relaunching soon with a new design under the same domain). We also have an iPhone app here: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSto...
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo that can be used with all aspects of Fan the Fire, the magazine and the blog.
The logo must be appropriate for use alone or alongside text. It will be used in the main site header, the icon for the iPhone app and in other locations with relevant text.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We have a broad target audience; a large percentage in the creative sector, fans of music, film, art and style, and are targetting the magazine at 15-35 year olds.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We like the font Chaparral Pro, especially i
n bolt italic. We also use Century Gothic throughout the magazine and in bold for the header on the front cover of monthly magazine. Text should not necessarily be limited to those fonts however.
We also like the following logos:
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
From the name, obviously 'fan' and 'fire' will be possibilities for the logo, but all logos certainly shouldn't be restricted by one or both of these.
