LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The Local Government Energy Assurance Planning (LEAP) initiative helps city governments plan for energy-related emergencies, and protect city power and fuel supplies from disruption.
This design project is open to U.S. citizens and companies only.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The logo will be used on the LEAP website. We expect to build the website theme around the colors used in the logo.
We are looking for a logo accompanied by the word LEAP (all caps). The logo must be self-sufficient, however, so that it can be used without the word LEAP if needed.
The logo should symbolize energy security: the protection of energy supply and infrastructure.
The logo must work in color and monochrome versions. We would like to see a logo that could work in both vertical and horizontal space. Identify colors in hex.
Any commercially available type font in the image should be identified.
Other possible uses of this logo could include event signage, presentation materials, publications and awards.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Energy and public safety agencies and elected officials in numerous U.S. cities.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We prefer designs that avoid fine lines and high detail.
Avoid cliches (knights in armor, helmets, shields etc.) Think lighting, lighted cities, warmth, energy with security and safety.
