LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

The logo is for a new live music promotion company based in San Francisco, California. The company will host and promote concerts and festival in exceptional venues in the area. Bands will range from up and coming acts like Mount St. Helens Vietnam Band and Hockey to established acts like Wolfmother and Wilco. While primarily based in Rock of all varieties, the events will also include Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Folk and World.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo with an accompanying icon to serve as the primary trade mark of the company. It will be used on business cards, promotional materials, advertisements, projected slides and hopefully some tattoos.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Live music enthusiasts.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

DailyRadar (www.dailyradar.com) - the font is bold and powerful. The icon retains the power yet is also dynamic and active. Design by Cuban Council

Blips (www.blips.com) - Same comments as above. The sticker like casing for the brand icon is particularly interesting. Design by Cuban Council as part of DailyRadar project.

Gigmania - (http://www.segura-inc.com/pics/5486/full...) the font is quite compelling and the pixelated G is strong.

There are no color requirements.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The Logo must absolutely include:

1) The company name: 2fourfour8

2) An accompanying ICON

The logo must capture the following attributes:

1) Underground mystery

2) Exclusivity

3) Sophistication

4) Explosive Energy

5) Transcendence

The winner will present color and black and white treatments of the logo.
