Our client, a consulting company with 1.700 employees in Germany and Austria, is among the ten leading providers of management and IT consulting services in the German market. (Sorry we can not publish the clients name)
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a new logo for the annual kick-off-conference (Kick Off 2010).
The Kick Off 2010 is an annual meeting for all employees of our client. For each conference, we create a new logo as each conference has its own business and event focus.
We need a professional logo representing our clients market position and the conference.
The logo should imply a start / beginning as it is the kick-off for 2010 and a forward movement. Thats our favorite message of the logo.
Alternatively (not a must!), the logo could graphically indicate a show-part during the conference: a drum show. But: if you use drums as a symbol in the logo it is important that it is only drafted or adumbrated. It should not be obvious that there is a drum-show, its a surprise. You can find an image of the drums as an attached file (it's only an example).
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The attendees of the conference are employees of the consulting company (age 25 to 60 years, all levels).
We will use the logo for print- and none-print products (such as invitation, website, powerpoint-presentations, nameplates, stickers etc.).

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The wording of the logo must be: Kick Off 2010
Letters: K and O in caps, rest in small letters. All must be clearly readable. We do not have a subtitle.
There can be a symbol or a graphical element between Kick and Off and 2010- but no must.
The logo must have a transparent background and must be easy to extract.
The logo should imply a start / beginning as it is the kick-off for 2010 and a forward movement.
The clients corporate font is Frutiger (and Arial but for Microsoft Office usage only). The following fonts of Frutiger can be used for the logo: Frutiger 47 Light Condensed, Frutiger 57 Condensed, Frutiger 67 Bold Condensed, Frutiger 77 Black Condensed.
We are open to ideas, but colours are predefined. You dont have to us all of the mentioned colours. Orange should only be used as a highlight (not too much orange), grey and/or blue should dominate.

Euroscale:100% Cyan, 85% Magenta
