LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
FundRazr is an online fee and donation system that allows people to pay sport team/ club fees online, track payments and fundraise.
Essentially it's a widget based application that sits in the social networking sites. Currently we're designing it for use in FaceBook.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a crisp clean logo that will stay relevant in the online world and appeal to a wide variety of people, not just those in the sports arena, anyone who deals with collecting and paying fees.
The logo needs to be expandable/ repeatable as we will be developing similar widgets to meet other needs such as political, events, schools etc.
We want the logo to have the word FundRazr and a visual within it. The visual may be used in place of the name FundRazr on the widget so it needs to depict the business concept.
We need to keep the colors within the expected and trustworthy range for a financial tool (think PayPal) this implies selections from blue, green, white and shades of grey/black, although open to other shades like red that are bold.
Ideas around the word FundRazr is that it visually represents:
E-payments as opposed to cash and checks
Secure and fast payments
Tracking money and or totals
Reaching fundraising milestones
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Target market is roughly 15-45 year olds, both kids and adults involved in teams and clubs and parents/ family/fans involved in paying/collecting fees or donating. We expect the younger audience are fairly savvy in the online world, who use social networks such as FaceBook and make payments online. However we also want to appeal to the more mature bracket who aren't necessarily totally comfortable online.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Simple and sleek but bold designs like Skype, YouTube. However open minded from that front
