Our company purchases and resell HERMES luxury handbags. These bags, particularly the Birkin and Kelly retail new for $8000 US- $100,000 US. They are considered the most high end handbag in the world. Every HEREMES handbag is handmade, handstiched by craftsman in Paris. Each is stamped with the personal stamp of the craftsman. They are coveted for their craftsmanship, enduring, classic styling and well, yes, because they represent a certain lifestyle.
Because of the incredible pricepoint, there is an enormous resale market for establish, reputable resellers. The bags we resell are only authentic and will sell for anywhere from $3,000 USD- $30,000 USD, each. There are waiting lists for certain bags and that also fuels the resale market.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Branding. Logo to be used for all marketing pieces, including print and web design.
Our name is "Clochette". It is a french word meaning "little bell". It is also a part of all HEREMS handbags, a bell shaped leather piece that dangles from the bag and houses the keys that lock the handbags. Our tagline is " Where legendary luxury lives on" or "Legendary Luxury Lives On".
It would be great if that could be incorporated as well or incorporated in a way that it could be cropped if needed.
Ideally, the logo would draw to mind the HERMES logo (attached in a file) so that the logo can do some of the work and we don't need to use the word HERMES over and over. Of course, we don't want to infringe on any HERMES trademarks.
The handbags are about creating a lifestyle. They are handed down from generation to generation and increase, rather than decrease in valuable. While it may seemd crazy, they are as valuable as art and jewelry to some.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Wealthy women ages 25-60, worldwide. We want them to think about legendary style and elegance, but not in a flashy way...understated style. We want them to feel the sense of connection with the HERMES history and fine craftmanship.
It is important to know that we will be purchasing bags from sellers and reselling them to buyers, so there are two audiences.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
HERMES colors are pumpkin orange and very dark brown. No free-form design, rather more angular or circular. We are leaning toward those colors (white too) just because they harken to HERMES. But, we are open to ideas!
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
MUST HAVE A FILE THAT CAN BE VIEWED AS A JPEG as we have no professional graphic packages, as well a files that can be forwarded for professional production as ads and webs site.
Absolutely can not have the word HERMES. Must have our name and maybe our tag line.
We have attached some idea file. One was done by us as a starter ad, but we are obviously not professionals.
