What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
Our company has been around 50+ years. We have used Crowdspring several times. This logo development is for a startup project were considering. This alpha-stage concept will reside at the site voices.fm, which is a combination of a blog with audio-style posts, along with an online radio station with 24 hour broadcasting of the audio clips in rotation. The audio clips embedded in the blog postings and in broadcast rotation are all brief (about 5 minutes) interviews with business people and politicians. We have not settled on a tag line yet, but some that are under consideration are along these lines: American Interviews; Interviews with the Experts ; Speak Your Mind; Interview Radio. You do not have to incorporate any of these lines into the logo design; this is just to give you more thoughts behind the concept. Our target audience is business owners, managers and politicians interested in being an interviewee with a professional voice talent to talk about a topic of interest.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
We are wide open to your own creativity. A good source to see how others have approached this is to search online for internet radio stations and podcast hosting sites such as audioboo.fm; blogtalkradio.com; live365.com, etc. However, we are not interested in a loud or busy logo that a traditional on-air station might have designed to appeal to listeners. This contemplated site is designed for professionals making a business decision, not the listeners. So the logo should be clean and modern with minimal added colors.
A play button, headphones or microphone icon could be incorporated, but since a lot of designers may do that, you might want to try something else to be different. No lightning bolts representing a radio signal. Use the entire domain in the logo voices and fm. Icons can be within the domain or stand aside left or right, or above or below.
