Atlanta PHP User Group ("AtlantaPHP")
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
Describe the target audience for your logo
Web developers interested in the PHP scripting language (professionals as well as hobbyists).
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
That we are a (non-profit) user group dedicated to:
1. Connecting and uniting PHP users across the Southeast USA
2. Providing world-class support and resources to the PHP community
3. Advocating the adoption of PHP by local, national, and international businesses
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Text or text and image; image could possibly indicate the city of Atlanta, but we do not want any "peach" references.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
No preferences, but colors that would look good on gray or black T-shirt.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
This logo will be used for our website re-design, watermarking video tutorials we produce, and for print material (business cards, T-shirts); we plan to update our (currently hideous) website design based on the look of the logo.
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
We like the Handel Gothic font used for the PHP language logo (http://php.net/download-logos.php), but we do not like the simplistic nature of the php.net logo; nor the colors;
We like the look of the logo for PHP Northwest (http://www.phpnw.org.uk/).
The full name of the group is "Atlanta PHP User Group", but we call it "AtlantaPHP" (one word). The logo should emphasize "AtlantaPHP" and may include the words "User Group" less prominently.
