Give Back is crowdspring's way of helping worthy non-profit and charitable causes around the world when those organizations need design help but cannot afford it. For these special projects, no monetary awards will be given and crowdspring will waive all fees. Crowdspring will help each organization post their project. Together, we will collaborate to help those who are less fortunate.
Give Back projects will work just like standard projects, including contracts, wrap-up, notifications, etc.
We will find ways to recognize winning designers in Give Back projects.
We'll also ask the winning designers in Give Back projects to propose other worthy non-profits and charities that can benefit from this program. We hope that in this small way, crowdspring and our community can help non-profits and charities around the world.

About Your Company
We are looking for a logo for an antiracism hub for Canada’s international cooperation sector, bringing together actors that work in what are traditionally defined as “humanitarian” and “international development” settings - meaning organizations that work to address poverty, injustice and inequality worldwide. We are working to address racism throughout organizations across Canada.
Our target audience is staff working for these organizations, as we wish to invite organizations to sign our Framework and join one of the working groups. That said, we also wish to have communications material that is appealing to potential donors (the Government of Canada and/or foundations such as the MasterCard foundation) as well as other actors that liaise with our sector (for example university students, academics, journalists etc). The logo should be clear and inclusive for all of these different actors to feel welcome.

Additional Info
Bilingual (French/English) is very important in the Canadian sector. We would also like to be easy to find (e.g. on Google). We are a non-partisan hub so you can choose the colors you wish but the entire color combination should under no circumstances be the same as the official colors of any major political party in Canada (i.e. Red or Blue)
We do not have competitors but for example the Black North initiative might be a good example to consider. They are an antiracism hub for Canada’s private sector. Compared to the Black North initiative we would probably need to dial down on patriotism. Instead, we can build on sector values such as human rights, equality, social justice, sustainability, feminism, etc.
A similar initiative doing this work on a global scale would be the Racial Equity Index. They are also working with the international cooperation sector, with a specific project of developing an index of what racial equity means for our sector.
We would like to avoid terms that do not fit our social justice and equality values: please do not use the gender binary, paternalistic, ableist language or any other language that might be construed as exclusionary. Specific words to avoid: “aid”, “third world”, “the Global South/North”, “developing/developed countries”, “vulnerable”.
