LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Forever Young Rx is a startup pharmacy services company. We operate pharmacies in the long term care space, otherwise known as the nursing home space.
Nursing homes can not justify building their own pharmacies (they are too small), and require services that retail pharmacies can't provide (delivery, IVs, compounded drugs, medical records services).
Nursing homes order their drugs via fax or phone, and a long term care pharmacy process the orders and ships the prescriptions (just like a retail prscription) to the facility at night via courier.
Forever Young Rx is the operator of the pharmacy, typically for a seperate owner who may own a nursing home chain or a hospital.
We service the frail and elderly, who have a very high standard for accuracy and professionalism in healthcare.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
o Logo should be on the corporate rather than funky side
o Logo should project that this is not a guy hanging a shingle, but a professional company
o Things I like: strength, reliability, conservative nature, dependability
o Things I dont care for as much: cartoony, comic strip feel,
o I like three colors: red, blue, and a dull silver (see Freedom Pharmacy logo in attached file)
o I prefer the overall shape of the footprint to be a landscape rectangle, roughly 2x1 in ratio
o Logo should be printable in color and black and white (such as on a form; see attached file)
o Please have the phrase Pharmacy Services under the logo, in a way that is detachable from the logo, giving the option of using it or not
o LLC should not be in the logo.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Audience is government, nursing home owners and hospitals
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
o I like the logo to have a hint of what the company doessomething medical, something in pharmacy
o Perhaps icon is a carbon chain
o Pharmacy icons include and Rx with the x on the tail of the R. Many include a mortar and pestle, which is like an old fashioned bowl and mixer, but I dont care for the imageis suggests old school too much.
o Here are some corporate logos and my thoughts (see the KPCB.com / portfolio site for the long list in the attached file)
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
See my brief in the attached file.
