What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
Blog and Search Marketing
Describe the target audience for your logo
Professionals, companies, marketers
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
1. Professional marketing consulting
2. My name (O'Brien) and the implication of SEO
3. NOT just search. Don't use iconography that implies just search (see the style and concept details below). The connection of SEO with O'Brien has proven to be both a significant benefit to my personal brand and a handicap, suggesting I only do search marketing. Your objective is to support that connection while also distinguishing the brand as more than Search Engine Optimization.
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Image, text (what's the font used), and a square icon that can stand on it's own to accompany the name in the logo.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Business cards, web site, contracts, presentations (PPT). The icon to accompany is an avatar, the icon for the web address, a icon on the front of a polo shirt
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
Web design in progress
For those of you familiar with search marketing, you'll catch the play on words. My last name is O'Brien. I'm a Search marketer by trade (SEO) but work heavily in Startups. I'm also Self Employed. There are a number of fun things to communicate through the name:
SEO'Brien - SEO & O'Brien
SEo'brien - Self Employed O'Brien
SEo'brien - Startup Entrepreneur O'Brien
I'm looking for a memorable design for the use of the name, and an icon to accompany the logo. Convey professionalism, expertise, excellence, and high quality. Draw the connection between SEO and O'Brien but I want to avoid being pigeonholed as an SEO marketer. Make sure to retain my name as much as the affiliation with other themes = O'Brien. Don't do something that forces it to look like "SEO" followed by 'Brien. The name is SEO'Brien
