LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Kindred will be the premier bar/lounge in Washington, DC. Our goal is to create an environment where our guests can come as they are, have fun and unwind. Kindred will be a unique, diverse and inclusive space where guests can enjoy premium drinks. ALL demographics will socialize and network at this venue. We will provide a wide range of entertainment including nights featuring the best local and national DJs.
Kindred located in the U Street corridor area of the citty. The area is going throug a lot of changes because of genterifcation. The neigborhood is historically a African-American neighborhood but a lot of whites and gay people have moved into the area. We want to embrace the entire community. The space will provide 3 different feels; dance floor area with live DJ's and band; a lounge area to mengle with friend, bottle service will be provided; and neighborhood bar feeling with TV and beer on tap.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
A edgy, artsy, contemporary and urban logo that appeals to a diverse audiences that will not be dated in 5 years. Interested in logo designs that are typography - no symbols necessary but welcomed. The logo will be used for the website, business cards, t-shirts and fliers.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The club/lounge caters to a diverse clientele across racial, cultural and socioeconomic lines. It is a space for people who enjoy socializing with a diverse group of people ages 25 to 45 years old. Patrons like to dance to a wide range of music from old school hip hop music to top 40 dance songs to a good local band.
We want our patrons to know that we are not pretentious and give great customer service. We care about and appreciate diversity and everyone feeling coming together in a safe space. Patrons will not be over charged for drinks or charged outrageous cover. Entertainment will always be creative with something different each week.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Colors that match a industrial interior of exposed brick, exposed duct, and wood floors. Edgy, urban, and artsy.
