LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Presse Suisse, the association of newspaper and magazine publishers in Western Switzerland (French-speaking part of Switzerland) is looking for a logo for an upcoming seminar on media law that will be held this automn.
Our seminar will focus on recent cases about media law affecting newspapers and magazines and digital medias. This seminar will allow lawyers and publishers to get updates on the most recent changes in media law, which includes court decisions in that sector, but also new law-related questions arising due to the technological evolutions in our field.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The logo will be used on our internet site, on our newsletters on our letters and during our seminar.
The logo should help us brand the seminar and to advertise it among our target audience (see below).
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Among our target audience, you will find:
- University Law Professors
- Middle to top management of leading media companies
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We would welcome both a sober and original design conveying a "corporate" feel.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The logo should be made of two elements:
1) a graphical element conveying a "corporate feel"
2) the mention "dveloppements rcents en droit des mdias" (with a capital "D" or not) that should be added to the right or the left of the graphical element.
The indication "dveloppements rcents en droit des mdias" should be written using a font that can be read very easily, preferably in a darker color. The graphical element doesn't have to be in the same color.
The logo (i.e. the graphical element and the mention "dveloppements rcents en droit des mdias" should - all together - be wider that long (as we intend to use it on our website, letters and newsletters).
We wouldn't like the logo to include any reference to Swiss clichs (no Swiss flag, no edelweiss, no cheese, no watches, you name it) ;-)
