LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We need a design to represent our clinic in Playas de Tijuana. We work with Ibogaine, a molecule derived from an extremely potent psychedelic African root. Within minutes after ingestion Ibogaine begins to block withdrawal symptoms from a variety of addictive substances. It can also be used for altering less dominant habits such as addictions to food, nicotine, as well as for its traditional spiritual use for psycho-spiritual growth.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The clinic's name is Pangea Biomedics, named after the supercontinent that existed during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras about 250 million years ago. It symbolizes the unity of continents, people and cultures, and the bringing together of that which has separated. We would like to incorporate this image into the design, and to symbolize the healing process we would like to have the connected continents suggest the shape of a heart which was once whole and has come back together.
We'd like to see some aspect of Mexican and African culture represented, even if it is just in the color palette. We would definitely like to see the Iboga plant itself represented growing on the continent somewhere, perhaps in the shape of the heart ventricles.
One idea, if it works out, would be play with the topography of the land mass relative to the biology of the human heart.
The in the nighttime ceremony of the Bwiti, the traditional culture in Gabon who has been using Iboga for millenia, culminates in a state called "nlem myore" or "one heart only".
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We are located in Mexico because Ibogaine is currently illegal in the United States, but we primarily cater to clients from across the US. However, our target audience is global. Our target age range is broad, from about 18 to 75. So far our clients have been almost 3 to 1, males to females. Also, our clinic is more medically enabled than other clinics around the world and especially in Mexico, so we also cater to clients who are looking for a more medical facility.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We are working with a community of people who coming to experience healing through altered states of consciousness with a traditional medicine in a modern clinic setting. There are some psychedelic and/or visionary artists who are graphically expressing these types of experiences. Alex Grey, Mark Henson, and others are easy to find in a google search and will offer some inspiration.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We don't want the text to circle around the design, or become part of the logo. We'd like two files. One with the text Pangea, and the other with the text Pangea Biomedics. Both just extending to the right of the image.
