LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

VESTA is a web-based application in use by about 80 different social services programs in Cincinnati, OH. It is a database that facilitates partnership and collaboration in serving clients, makes reporting to funders on demographics and outcomes easy, and improves clients' access to shelter/housing and services in our community. You can see the you-are-not-authorized-to-log-in page here: https://vesta.hmis-cincinnati.org.*

Originally designed about 10 years ago for a small group of homeless shelters that serve families to facilitate collaboration in serving clients, VESTA was named after the Roman goddess of hearth and home -- we worked backward from the name to come up with Virtual Electronic Service Tracking Assistant.

VESTA is our community's Homeless Management Information System (see info at http://www.hmis-cincinnati.org) -- but it is not only an HMIS. It's also used by job training programs, healthcare programs, veterans' programs, etc. The commonality is service to people.

*Please do not request a digital certificate. We won't issue you one.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo for our application that will be instantly recognizable to our community of users -- all of them, not just the homeless providers. You can see the primary color scheme at https://vesta.hmis-cincinnati.org.

The logo -- or some very recognizable part of it -- should be able to serve as the page icon in the browser's address bar.

I've attached the logo that we're using now, if you could call it that -- it's the one in the upper left-hand corner of the you-can't-log-in page.

We have an old logo for HMIS -- it's also attached, but we're not very attached to it.

Finally, I'm attaching the logo for our company, The Partnership Center, Ltd.(PCL) -- and you can look at our website at http://www.partnershipcenter.net.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Primarily social service agencies, but also government agencies and individuals / organizations that provide grants / funding to social service agencies.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

I like ClientTrack's logo: http://www.clienttrack.com/Specific-Solu... -- simple and recognizable.

I also like VisionLink's logo: http://www.visionlink.org/ -- but, of course, we don't want to look too much like it, even though our product name also starts with a V.
