LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
My company is called True Nourishment. The tagline is Eat Well,
Live Passionately.
Im a holistic health counselor helping professional and business
women understand the role of nutrition in their lives and encourage
them to pursue their lifes passion. Through healthy eating and
lifestyle change, I teach women that their bodies can help them
accomplish what they want. I primarily work over the phone in group
and one-on-one coaching. I also teach cooking classes, and will be
developing cookbooks and info-products. I teach an Eating
Philosophy as opposed to a diet. I teach that wellness comes from
having many elements in place - physical activity, spirituality,
career, relationships. I teach that it is important to have clarity
in what youre looking for (purpose) in order to be motivated to get
healthy.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Looking for a logo that will unify my brand and use it on all
collateral, my company website, social marketing websites (Facebook,
Twitter, LinkedIn), business cards, stationery, e-books, banner
signage for trade shows. Not looking to use it on things like mugs,
clothing, souvenir-type items.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
My target audience is college-educated, professional and business
women in their mid-20s to mid-60s from all over the country and the
world. My clients are conscious business owners, they care about
the health of their business, the environment, and their clients.
They are educated about food and wellness, and know what they need
to improve. They want to feel beautiful, confident, and in control of
their bodies. They are at a point in their lives where they want to
devote time, energy and money to caring about themselves, instead of
just focusing on others or on their career or business.
I have a deep understanding for what it takes to balance pursuing a
career and maintaining a healthy life. I enjoy working with
professional and business women - someone whos ambitious, forward
thinking and aware that their nutrition is affecting their personal
and professional success. My approach is complete, holistic, and
encouraging. I support women where they are at in their lives,
rather than make them feel bad about themselves in order to change.
I am repositioning/rebranding myself as the True Nourishment Diva.
Diva in the sense of a playful, supportive, knowledgeable authority
on nutritional wellness, NOT in the diva sense of drama-queen
authority or bitchiness. I want women to look at me and see
someone with a vitality, energy, attitude, and passion that they can
get for themselves.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
http://www.fuelyourcreativity.com/50-kic...
Farmdog -no good - too kid-like, immature
Tmiint - good - like font of name, symbol, color
kooture - genius use of font, obvious that its referring to clothing
company b/c of the stitching style
Cosmopolitan - too stuffy, old, inaccessible
CoffeeBreak - like it
Ignite - nice - like flame incorporated into name
DesignSnips - nice how scissors relate to name
Scentplicity - like it
Web Designer Wall - nice, but too much going on
http://www.edmannutrition.com/images/log... this is nice and clean.
http://www.ombelievablewellness.com/stor... like the
colors and kind of like the design although there's a little too much
information in there
We DON'T like these designs
http://fittobepersonaltraining.com/yahoo...
LogoColorTextBelow.126183313_std.jpg please don't use figurines
like these. colors are bad too

LogoColorTextBelow-full.jpg again the figurines and the text is
very unprofessional
http://www.danihealth.com/images/cbc_log... abstract. needs to be
explained.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Im looking for a logo that MUST include the whole name: True
Nourishment
It CAN include the tagline: Eat Well, Live Passionately
Prefer to have a graphic image/symbol in addition to the name being
in the logo, something that could be extracted and used without the
company name as a separate element.
It should gentle, soft (geared towards women)
I would like Earth colors or some kind of combination of gold/purple/
fushia/pink, and Bold colors - make a statement
I like Asian, minimal. I want to pack a punch with color but be
simple in design.
Open to using images/symbols
Open to having logo fit across a whole web page (banner) or printed page
Things we dont like or don't need for this project or other things
to avoid using, doing, seeing, etc.
Avoid using ALL CAPS in the company name or tagline.
No straight lines
No cold colors (blue, grey, black), no pastels
No cheesy fonts that evoke New Age, hippie, Papyrus font
Avoid abstract design/abstract symbol that needs to be explained,
cant be easily read.
Not too obvious either
No actual photographs in the logo
No initials, dont shorten company name (TN)
