LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
ProMedica CRC is the only commercial, in-patient Phase I to IIa clinical research center in Boston, Massachusetts. Clinical trials conducted at ProMedica CRC are primarily sponsored by pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies (local, national and international) that are testing the safety of investigational drugs in humans. Clinical research is a vital part of bringing safe and effective drugs to market. For that reason, early stage healthy human studies like those conducted at ProMedica CRC have the strictest safety measures in place to protect patients. ProMedica CRC also conducts out-patient studies in healthy humans.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The current company logo is dated, so we are looking for an updated and modern look. Assume that the target audiences are knowledgeable about clinical research and health/medical topics in general.
It is critical that we differentiate ourselves from other companies called ProMedica and Promedica.
It is critical that we differentiate ourselves from other CROs:
- Quintiles (quintiles.com)
- PAREXEL (parexel.com)
- Covance (covance.com)
- Promedica International (promedica-intl.com)
- Biovail (biovail.com)
- Averion (averionintl.com)
- MDCI (mdci.com)
- Veeda (veedacr.com)
- ICON (iconplc.com)
- and many others
A strong and distinguishing type treatment is a must. When including some sort of graphic/mark/icon, DO incorporate into the name/type itself. DO NOT create a logo where the graphic/mark/icon is separate from the name/type (above, to the side, etc). (See examples on uploaded PDF)
DO NOT incorporate the number '1' into the logo.
DO NOT incorporate a heartbeat line into the logo it is overused and too generic.
Please visit the ProMedica CRC website (promedicacrc.com) to see the current corporate logo. Please see the uploaded PDF of the current logo as it appears in print.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Medical Directors (typically research physicians and PhDs) at pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies sponsoring early stage human studies come to ProMedica CRC because they know that their study will receive undivided attention. ProMedica CRC conducts one study at a time to make sure that drug dosing, safety measures and patient care for that particular study receives full staff attention. ProMedica CRC will never simultaneously conduct two in-patient clinical trials because of their commitment to patient safety. At the most, ProMedica CRC will simultaneously conduct an in-patient and out-patient study. This kind of dedication to research and patient safety is what brings repeat customers at major pharmaceutical companies back for other clinical trials. Male and female study participants of all ages come to ProMedica CRC to participate in these first in human studies. Patients are treated with the highest level of dignity, respect and medical integrity. The target audiences for ProMedica CRC are:
Medical Directors Lead early stage human studies at pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
Clinical Monitors Work for the pharmaceutical/biotechnology company and ensure that research sites like ProMedica CRC are conducting Phase I to IIa studies in accordance with the companys study Protocol (guidelines for the conduct of research) and in accordance with US and International guidelines for safe research practices
Contracting/Budgeting Personnel The people at pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies that review CRO budgets and ensure that they come in at a competitive price with complete services as required by the company.
Patients of all ages However, most ProMedica CRC studies focus on men between the age of 18-50 and post-menopausal women. However, studies in patients of all ages are conducted.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
ProMedica CRC is the name. It must appear with a less prominent descriptor/tagline of Clinical Research Center. The descriptor/tagline will be used in conjunction with the name for now. Eventually, it may be dropped or changed. For this reason, the design of the name "ProMedica CRC" should be able to stand on its own. Please so each solution with and without the descriptor/tagline.
