LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
30GO30 is based on a technique that has worked wonders for my own productivity putting aside 30 minutes/day for 30 days to work on a major project or goal. The website will be a combination of a free tool to set up and track 30/30 projects, a motivational blog (written by me, a psychologist and internet marketer but self-professed NON-guru), and tips for how to put this relatively simple tactic to use for great results.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I want to start this project on the right foot, which means a logo I can be proud of and design around. I hate to use this phrase, but I'm looking for something in the "Web 2.0" style modern, friendly, fairly simple. I haven't decided yet whether to go with the uppercase "30GO30" or lowercase "30go30", but I like the play between "30" and "GO" visually, and would like to see variations on that.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The modern underachiever 20- to 50-somethings who have big ideas but have trouble getting them into play or focusing on a project long enough to see it through. Mostly catering to tech-savvy folks who like web-based tools.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
Technorati, Feedburner, Basecamp, Corona. Common themes a simple but illustrative graphical element paired with text and 2-3 colors. Leaning toward a serifed font, but open to alternatives. I'm open to color choices, but am leaning toward at least one of them being green. I'm getting tired of blue/yellow, blue/orange combinations from previous projects, especially reflex blue.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
The logo must have a graphical element that can stand alone or be paired with the text. The name (30GO30) must appear in the logo, although uppercase or lowercase "go" are both acceptable for now. The logo should have at least 2 colors and no more than 4.
