LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Sleep Experience is a specialty mattress store that specializes in visco (memory foam), latex, air, water and innerspring mattresses. Our unique feature is the number of specialty surface mattresses that we carry along with accessories like sleep masks, aroma therapy candles, sound machines and other products that promote sleep wellness. While most bed stores try to sell you a mattress we aim to help you find the correct mattress and sleep surface by using diagnostic tools and using consultative selling techniques. We offer the customer a different type of shopping experience from the moment they walk through the door to when the mattress is delivered. Our tag line is "Better sleep through a better shopping experience." Our store utilizes residential colors and decor and are designed to make a shopper feel at home.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I need a logo design that can be used as a neon store sign. The font and colors should be able to be read easily driving by. We will have multiple locations so the size of facia will vary so the design should be simple. The colors should convey rest, comfort, relaxation but be visible when lighted at night. Most stores use red or white or blue in their colors but we would like to project a different look through colors and font. Since our beds are very conforming to the shape of a person we would like to convey that in our signage.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Women are the key decision makers in this industry and generally do the shopping for this product. When a women comes into our store we want them to know immediately that we are a different store and to be at ease. Most bedding stores are intimidating to women and lying down on mattresses can feel awkward to them. When a customer sees our sign we want to convey that we are different and that we are there to help them with their selection and not just sell them a bed.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Tempurpedic has a nice design utilizing colors that are soothing (green) and a logo of a woman on her side. While it would not be good for a store sign, it does convey a good message. Sleep Designs also has a good logo. Mattress Firm and Sears use a swoosh and Big Lots has a exclamation mark. Possibly using a combination of fonts and colors like our example may work. We are very open to color and design.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The most important thing is that it is easily read during the day and at night. It is for a building.
