What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

SEM Fusion

What is your industry?

Advertising and Marketing

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

Overall we want to communicate that we take a number of internet technologies, marketing platforms, and social media sites and fuse them together to create energy/momentum/buzz/marketing success for our clients.

SEM stands for Search Engine Marketing

We want our corporate image to reflect our belief in total client engagement, professionalism, and quality.

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

I should start by saying that I don't want to restrict the creative process too much. I'm looking forward to being surprised.

My initial thought is to have something with a rectangular aspect ratio to be placed on marketing reports, business cards, and other media. However, we are also looking for the option to make the logo square when the need arises.

Maybe something with an emblem to the left and text on the right. That emblem could be enlarged and placed above the text to form a square aspect ratio design. A logo like Home Depot is too bland and square. I suppose if it was clever I wouldn't be opposed to something like starbucks.

All that said, feel free to let your imaginations roam.

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

As im browsing logos I'm noticing that for us it will be important for the logo to look nice on a white background, but also be able to be inverted to a darker or charcoal background.

I'm still deciding if I want to do SEM Fusion or SEMfusion. It's important to avoid the logo looking like SEMF usion. A company that has dealt well with this is SEMrush.com. Also if a few submissions could include "Marketing" and "Search Engine Marketing" that would be wonderful.

These caught my eye while browsing crowd spring:
