We are AVID. AVID is a new, start-up clothing line and retailer which serves the saltwater fishing and fly fishing markets. AVID will primarily operate via a website, in addition to a unique retail store. The online and retail stores will offer a distinctive selection of high-quality fishing gear & apparel: shirts, board shorts, hats, visors, etc Our future plans call for expanding the brand to other outdoor sports (hunting & spearfishing) in the future. It is important that the AVID logo allows for this brand growth.
AVID's goal is to be the leading lifestyle outfitter for avid sportsmen.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a universal logo that represents our fishing/outdoor brand on a global scale. The logo will be used on our clothes & hats; our website; stickers; all marketing material; packaging; etc.
The AVID brand/logo should be stylish, contemporary, energetic, youthful but mature, global, aggressive but not overly edgy (almost passive aggressive)
We are considering using outfitters or tackle in our name (i.e. Avid Outfitters; Avid Tackle) but AVID is the core brand and it needs to stand on its own. Please feel free to incorporate outfitters or tackle in variations if you want.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Avid Sportsmen & Outdoorsmen (fish, hunt, dive)
Fly Fishermen (todays generation, not your grandfather)
Primary Men but also women (they buy for men)
18-45 years old
