LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The name of our company is Delaropa. We are a start-up company based in Chicago, IL USA. We are an apparel company focused on producing high-end fitness apparel. We will be competing directly with companies such as Lululemon (www.lululemon.com).
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo that exhibits the same characteristics as our customers (see below). It should be a clean and versatile design that includes a logo with the company name. By versatile, we mean that we need to be able to use it on all our marketing materials including our website, letterhead, business cards, etc. Additionally, we need to be able to embroider the logo (without the company name) onto the actual clothing. If the logo does not lend itself to being embroidered, it is of no use to us. The logo needs to be the appropriate size and shape to fit all these purposes. (For example, a logo that is narrow and tall will probably not work very well on a website banner) We want something that is really dynamic and catches the eye.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our target audience is 20 to 40 years of age and leads a very active lifestyle. Our customers demand athletic apparel that is not only stylish, but extremely functional and durable. Our typical customer lives in a major metropolitan area, utilizes a gym membership on a regular basis, and even attends a yoga class or two on occasion. Adjectives that describe our customers include: active, bold, strong, athletic, independent, flexible, affluent and smart.

We're open to different colors, fonts, etc. We are looking for ideas.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We would like a design that includes the name of the company (deleropa) and the logo. On occasion, we will use the logo without the company name) so, the logo must be able to stand on its own. When the company name is written for marketing purposes, we tend to like it written in lowercase letters, but are open to other suggestions.
