BECs mission is to connect Nicholas School students to environmental management and sustainability programs within private small-scale and large-scale enterprises throughout the country. There is a growing opportunity for Masters of Environmental Management students in the private sector and, as part of the Nicholas Schools commitment to environmental protection, it is imperative to increase awareness of the Nicholas Schools professional masters program and relevant concentration areas. BEC will serve as an outlet for those students looking to increase sustainability efforts within the private sector.
