LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
I'm an attorney in Charlottesville, Virginia starting a solo law firm, "The Law Offices of Lee P. Dunham." The firm's primary focus will be the representation of individuals in consumer bankruptcy filings and general business law, but I will also do some other types of cases.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I need a logo for use on the firm's letterhead, website, business cards, and possibly a sign outside the door.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The target audience is normal individuals who need legal and financial advice. I'd like the logo to have a traditional and conservative look and feel and to convey that the firm can be trusted with financial matters and will help people who are struggling with debt to get back on their feet.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
Black and white (and maybe grey) are all I need for the colors. I prefer fonts that are easy to read.
Also, please no lawyer cliches (gavel, columns, scales of justice). A monogram or crest of some kind would be nice. Alternately, something involving a "money plant" (also called an "honesty plant" or "lunaria") could be good (see a picture of one at http://linuxsoftware.co.nz/blog/wp-conte... but these are just ideas, don't feel tied to them.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
I'd like the firm's name and some kind of simple image to make it memorable. If you base the logo on a standard font, please let me know what it is so that I can incorporate it into other places on my website.
