What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Sisoda is an apparel company that supports educational programs around the world through locally curated artwork printed on garments. Our artwork will come from elementary and middle school students who submit their art to us. Each piece of artwork will fit within the boarders of a country when printed on the garment.
With each purchase from Sisoda, a percentage of profits are donated to the school or organization in which the artwork was curated from. Our audience is a global audience interested in supporting their countrys education and art programs, and therefore we need to be represented in a Worldly way.
Sisodas logo should appeal to people all over the world who care about giving back. Our target market must be willing to spend upwards of $30 on a t-shirt.
To recap, the logo could consist of a Worldly feel by subtly incorporating art and the message of giving back/education. It does not have to include all of these things but most importantly I want it to look worldy.
Things I tend to gravitate to include:
- simple designs, less is more
- simple font
- minimal colors
- turquoise/teal are good colors, thought starters
What I would not like included in the logo is:
- outline of a t-shirt
- a book (for the education piece)
- a brush (for the art piece)
- a globe
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Image + text or just text.
Less is more. Don't over complicate it, add too many colors, fonts, etc.
When trying to design this on my own, I've gravitated to simple designs with 'sisoda' inside of a thin circle with other creative factors included. I love thin lines and simple designs but please don't let this limit you.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
I'm currently using a simple logo that is just the SISODA name in all caps, black, spaced out quite large. However, Sisoda is a made up name and doesn't mean anything to anyone. I'd like it at some point to be recognized as a global brand that gives back. Similar to TOMS.
