LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Community Impact Bucks is a new non-profit organisation that provides high quality, innovative services to voluntary and community organisations throughout the English county of Buckinghamshire and beyond. We bring people together to improve the quality of life in the areas where we work and we develop and deliver services to meet the needs of our communities.
When we launch Community Impact Bucks on April 1 2010, it will take over and build on the work of four local organisations that have decided to merge after working successfully together in a consortium. We support over 1,200 diverse voluntary and community organisations through a county-wide team of professional staff and volunteers.
We are independent and are supported by local government, national government agencies, foundations, businesses and private individuals.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a simple but distinctive logo that reflects our work and our personality and that we can apply to all our print and electronic communications including the website which we will develop in time for our launch. It should be contemporary but enduring.
It should be able to work in association with our strapline: Promoting excellence in voluntary and community services.
Were a charity so we want to make sure that it will be inexpensive to reproduce and easy to adapt to all our communications and to those of our partners. It has to work in small sizes and in black and white as well as colour.
To understand more about what we are going to be doing, check out the websites for the four organisations which are forming Community Impact Bucks:
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
All members of the public in Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas, voluntary and community groups, national and local government, media.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
All three words must appear in the logo but the word Bucks can be smaller than the other two. No acronyms or abbreviations except Bucks.
The design should how the logo will work when used together with the strapline.
