Creative Brief

Who are you?

Blue Cat is a PR/media relations, public affairs, campaigning, events management and stakeholder engagement consultancy, specialising in the health sector. Most consultancies or agencies offer either PR and media relations, or policy/public affairs (lobbying government), or campaigning, or stakeholder engagement (can range from gathering organizations together to tap their views/expertise as part of a consultation process, to assisting an individual or an organisation to explore/research their future needs/direction).

Blue Cat was set up by Felicity Porritt, who has journalistic, media relations, public affairs, campaigning and stakeholder engagement experience within the consumer, industry, academic, charitable/voluntary and scientific sectors.

The organisation is called Blue Cat Communications to reflect the founders diversity of experience you dont normally see blue cats they are unusual and different.

What do you need?

We need a professional, clean, visually pleasing logo of a cat that looks content (often stroked by its owner), satisfied (can cope with anything that is thrown its way because its in charge of its own protected territory ie not an aggressive male cat protecting its territory, a female one lives contentedly on its own and is protected from unwanted imposters by a locked cat flap) and healthy (lean not thin but fed enough), which will be on our website and associated marketing materials. Please provide all source files at the end of this project (psd, ai, etc) and files in PNG and RGB Colour formats black/white obviously wouldnt work for a blue cat!

Who Is Your Audience?

Our audience varies from third/voluntary sector, scientific organisations, business (from small companies such as The Diet Plate to large multi-nationals such as Unilever), and academic institutions.
