The name Levee is a metaphor for holding back the river of news, a term that comes from one of our data suppliers. The purpose of our application is to only let through the relevant data and information that our clients need to see, with as little noise as possible.
We would be interested in seeing both literal and metaphorical plays on the application name.

We are looking for a logo and type treatment, similar to what 37signals does for their line of products. We have plans for other apps and we'd like to use a similar "theme" across all the branding.
