MAD BALLR

WHAT DO YOU DO?

Consumer Alchohol Products

Target Audience

WHAT IS YOUR INDUSTRY?

Alcohol Beverage

DESCRIBE YOUR AUDIENCE

MAD BALLR will largely be consumed by 21-29 year olds, and mostly male in nature. We believe women will drink it, but it needs to be a masculine brand. It will have diversity.

MAD BALLR is a flavored malt beverage with12% alc/vol, served in a 24oz can, and will come in a variety of flavors, Grape, Fruit Punch, Watermelon and others. competes in the same realm as Four Loko and Joose. Both of those other brands have a very distinct look of either camouflage or tattoo/ed hardy. Our look will have its own textile pattern that we incorporate into the flavors.

Again, keep in mind that this will be sold in crowded coolers in stores and on simple paper point of sale materials, so give thought as to how this can stand out amongst the category and messy store.

WHAT ARE THE TOP 3 THINGS YOU WOULD LIKE TO COMMUNICATE TO YOUR AUDIENCE?

MAD BALLR is:

Sophisticated not ghetto or thug, a classic feel, elegant

Modern has to be hip, current, relevant, cool, tie in with current trends in big brand logos

Billboard effect - Impactful, Strong, visible from a distance

Style and Concept

WHAT STYLES DO YOU LIKE?

We are attaching a concept of the brand for you to review. We would like you to explore all sorts of fonts and styles of writing it, but in conjunction we would also appreciate you taking our concept and perfecting it in your own style. You will notice that we used a Johnnie Walker silhouette as a placeholder for the guy who could be the MAD BALLR. Therefore, we would like if you could provide your own illustrative concepts for a MAD BALLR guy to be incorporated with the brand. It might be good to explore fonts of high end luxury brands, but at the same time, keep in mind that we need the brand to stand out with a strong font and be easy to read so thin skinny fonts will probably not work well.

WHAT COLORS DO YOU LIKE OR HATE?

MAD BALLR will be written on a variety of background colors to identify flavors and therefore we want the logo in white that we will trap on the can with silver and a black outline to make it stand out. On the cans the MAD BALLR will be written vertically for the most billboard effect possible, but will appear in its horizontal format on point of sale material and wearables.

Please submit logo in white on a black background.

ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL INFO? (OPTIONAL)

This brand should have irony built into it and not be too literal. What we mean by that is even though MAD BALLR sounds ghetto / hip hop it doesnt mean we want a thug design. We would like you to think about using some regal looking fonts that are bold, stand out, and easy to read. Feel free to explore several silhouettes for the MAD BALLR guy, but one we would like to see it a sort of Euro/English gentlemen with a bowler hat that could be seen on a bottle of whiskey or scotchthe kind of guy that when the MAD BALLR makes it in life he adopts a distinguished feel that still incorporates his life of a being a baller.

One of the best examples of these people that we can think of who incorporates style, sophistication and the baller personification is the musician and creative artist, Pharrell Williams. He has risen both in music and fashion, working with renowned artists, such as Madonna, and gone onto design jewelry for Louis Vuitton.
