LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
AutoQuill is a new startup company that will provide offshore outsourcing services in knowledge processing. It will work in such knowledge domains as architecture, engineering, legal and medical. It will serve clients across the globe. It aspires to build a global brand. Our deliverables will be architectural/ engineering drawings, legal documents, medical reports, and similar. This is how it will work: Our client will provide a concept, and we will process and express that concept digitally for the end user. It is a high-end work. (Explanatory note on the coined-word AutoQuill: A quill was used in olden days as a writing implement to record knowledge; but, our work process is IT enabled, i.e., automated, hence the word: AutoQuill).
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo to create, build and strengthen our brand. The logo will be used on our webpage, stationery, business cards, presentations and marketing. It will be our brand building tool. OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS: Knowledge professionals, such as, architects, engineers, lawyers and doctors, located in developed countries such as USA, Canada, UK, other EU countries, and Australia. All learned, sophisticated and suave.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We are looking for a logo that will be simple and memorable. It will express trustworthiness & dependability. It will look modern and have global appeal. It will reflect knowledge work. Our web page will be designed in following colors: grey, blue, red, maroon and green. So the logo color should fit with this color scheme.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Suggestive: (1) we find the logo of MasterCard simple and memorable. (2) logo of Indian mobile network giant Airtel is also simple and unforgettable; it uses two colors to good effect: check out: .
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The word AutoQuill must be written in large font. Additionally, if the design permits, without losing simplicity, it may include the impression of a quill (as in swan-quill), but this is not essential, and frankly we are quite unsure about it. The tag line is: Processing knowledge. If you think appropriate, you may include the tag line in small font in the logoagain we are not sure about it. However, we are sure that we do not want anything flashy/ gaudy/ flippant.
