What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

Text and image. We are hoping for some creativity, but here are some initial thoughts/ideas to get you started:
treasure chest to help visitors connect the dots between "EnergyTrove.com" and "treasure trove"
symbols of energy and sustainability (i.e. power, glowing light, images that conjure a continuous and natural cycle, etc.)
image that gives visitors feeling of discovery (i.e. dots leading to a treasure chest either opening or already opened that is emitting light, energy or money; dots leading to an x marks the spot, etc.)
It is important that the logo doesnt look cheap, thrown together or jumbled. It should look crisp and deliberate.

IMORTANT: The focus of our site is NOT the environment, recycling, the planet, etc.; it is on the financial and other direct personal benefits of sustainable living and sustainable energy.

Our website's name, "EnergyTrove.com" was derived from the phrase "treasure trove". It is meant to illicit a feeling of "discovering a source of wealth that's already there but has gone previously untapped." Our logo should give visitors the feeling that they have arrived at a credible, easy to navigate site that will show them ways to save money on energy and help them transition to a more sustainable lifestyle. It should also illicit a feeling of discovery.
The content of our site will include information about:
Cost savings/affordability
Smart Personal Energy Use (energy savings and renewable/sustainable home/personal transportation energy)
Sustainable living (energy, transportation, shelter, food/water and waste)
