LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Mobile meal vending agency representing independent chefs and restaurants on a nationwide basis. Agency will provide a comprehensive turnkey solution to freelance chefs looking to co-develop and launch innovative meal concepts using catering vehicles. Agency will also represent established local restaurants looking to extend their offering into other geographic territories using catering vehicles. Agency will design and deploy second generation catering vehicles retrofitted with the latest interactive and GPS technologies to maximize operational efficiencies. Agency will draw from a vast pool of culinary talent, but selectively represent only those which it believes to have the right combination of personality traits and culinary skills. Agency will concentrate on food concepts that it believes to have destination appeal; items that people crave; Items that draw people from everywhere irrespective of location; items that are easily consumed standing up.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a Mascot and Logo design for MobyMunch, our Agency brand.
We are thinking about using a whale on wheels (playing off of Moby Dick), but open to other ideas.
The "Whale on wheels" can look like its in motion and being chased down by stick figured people (like how kids used to chase down ice cream trucks). If the logo looks too busy, we can do without the chasing stick figures and re-evaluate that as part of an animated concept. Again, we are not married to the whale idea.
"Moby" in our name is meant to play on the word "Mobile"
"Munch" in our name is meant to play on the word "Eat"
The agency brand will be the "Parent" brand, supporting multiple food truck brands.
The agency brand will be on a website, banner ads, TV ads, and on the side of all of our catering vehicles. The brand will be subordinate to the food truck brand. However, we want people to recognize that it is a MobyMunch concept.
For example, if we develop a food truck for burgers called Jane's Burgers.
We want to be able to show the Jane's Burgers Logo, followed by MobyMunch:
Jane's Burgers
A MobyMunch Truck or
Brought to you by MobyMunch
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our food trucks will cater to Generation Y, Millennials, Tech Saavy, Hipsters, Pop-Culture Oriented, Peer-Oriented, Instant Gratification Oriented, Anti-Corporate, Street Culture, Born between 80s-90s.
Our food truck agency will be soliciting culinary students, experienced and amateur chefs to join the agency.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
cute, with attitude, abstract, simple, clear from a distance, perhaps something that hints of a nationwide/global corporate brand

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Conveys food and being mobile
Must have versions that look good in color and black and white / grey scale
