Tell us what you need
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Ledeen Diamond Co. (tag line: Diamonds Engagement Rings & Fine Jewelry separated by lines, dots commas, etc. Would like to see options with and without.)
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
30 years in the diamond industry and second generation family business. We provide a private bespoke diamond and fine jewelry buying experience tailored to each customer's individual specifications while providing high quality stones at wholesale prices. Collaborating remotely with clients while navigating the diamond market on their behalf is our specialty. Through a series of private consultations we will work with you to first understand your thoughts and specifications for the piece and then follow up with a variety of custom possibilities.
I am a a Graduate Gemologist who spans both the old world and new America. Having grown up in and around the diamond industry in America and Israel as well as living around the world I have the unique ability to navigate western American clients through the seemingly inaccessible maze of the diamond industry.
-consultation and industry education
-loose diamonds (wholesale brokering, investment stones, rare stones for collections), fine pearls and colored stones- custom jewelry (engagement rings, necklaces, earrings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc)
-diamond concierge and family jewelry managers
The most important aspect of my business is establishing trust with my clients. My business is centered around the relationships I build with my customers, their referrals, and within the industry. I must seem intriguing, confident and knowledgeable. Everything about the company image must appear classic and refined without being exclusionary. My clients are savvy, discerning individuals looking for custom fine jewelry buying experiences.
Logo/Business Cards Should Exude:
-timeless sophisticated elegance
Should NOT Include:
-lowercase lettering (except for specialized, unique fonts)
-no bright colors (Stick to black, browns, golds, white, dark greys or any combo of those)
Try and stay away from:
-literal diamond representations (triangles, pyramids, etc) unless it is truly unique. We do love emerald cut shapes as seen with Harry Winston
When thinking of ideas and design direction constantly ask yourself, "Would I spend 100k with the person that hands me this business card?" If the answer is yes you're heading in the right direction.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
-text and image
-text and monogram logo
-text, monogram within logo
I would like to use the logo separate and apart from the company name. People who know of the company should recognize it as LDC's logo right away. We love monograms or monograms within emblems because it allows the company name to be somewhat represented in the logo.
We have also played around with the idea of using a lion to represent the company (they are trustworthy, loyal, refined, wise, elegant, timeless). A monogram with a lion head would be great too. If you choose to go with some version of a lion please make sure it does not seem animated or cartoonish. It must be reflective of old world class (i.e. Ritz Carlton, european fountains, lions found on family shields) or some sort of more modern schematic (i.e. lion version of the Versace symbol).
