LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are a small start-up company dealing with solutions in the digital home. In our view digital home consists of topics such as home automation (e.g. heating control, security monitoring, ... ) or home entertainment (HDTV, streaming music, ).

We are in the process of launching our new product that will bridge two technologies within the digital home.

We already have a corporate identity built around the myriad font with green and grey colors. Green (pantone 375C) is the main color and grey is secondary (pantone cool grey 6C).

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo for our product named Kwikwai.

The name of our gizmo comes from the fact it is a bridge. As it is too difficult to use a bridge name, we jumped over it to go directly into the river where the sun is shining ;o)

The logo must be suitable for both the dedicated website and various documents, but also for small (a little bit less than 5''x2.5'') stickers (most probably black and white) that will be put on the device's enclosure.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our audience is mainly professional installers.

As you could see while browsing websites in the home automation industry, design is usually not the primary concern. But it does matter for us !

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We prefer cluttered but stylish design, and as an example of website we really like, you can visit http://www.madebysofa.com.

Generally speaking we like the apple environment with its unique sense of design.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We must have a logo referring to a bridge and including Kwikwai, the product name.

Here is an example of what it could looks like :

Without being mandatory, we had the idea to use purple, opposite but complementary to the corporate identity using mainly green.

Although we want to see a bridge in the logo, we definitely want to avoid any resemblance with the various flavors of the Cisco logo (http://www.cisco.com)
