Grupo Posadas is the leading hotel company in Latin America, with 108 hotels operated under 7 brands in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Chile.
We also have other lines of business, including a loyalty program, call center, travel agency and vacation club.
The logo for is for a new program of the Fiesta Americana Vacation Club*. The program is called Kivac.
Kivac is a product created by Fiesta Americana Vacation Club to give access to the hotel inventory of Grupo Posadas and the suites at the Fiesta Americana Vacation Club. Kivac is a product created to help travelers take trips during low season for a better price.
*Fiesta Americana Vacation Club is a long-term membership-based timeshare program that offers members the flexibility of hundreds of options to enjoy their vacations in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, the USA and the rest of the world. Our system is based on points and allows our members to stay in villas and hotel rooms in a wide range of vacation properties.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Develop a new logo for the Kivac brand, with two different options.
The first is a treatment that is exclusively typographic (preferred) and the second is a logo that combines a typographic treatment with an icon related to the program. Both executions should include the
tagline: "The key to your vacations." The logo should be flexible enough to be used in a variety of media (online, print, publicity) and should be able to be used with a broad color palette for different applications.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Men and women with an average yearly income of $40,000 USD, 28 years and older, who like to take vacations with friends and family and want a guarantee of where their next vacation will be. Families look to Kivac as an investment in their vacation needs for the next 3 to 10 years. It is a product for the youthful market that requires a low investment. It is unique and innovative and has not existed in Mexico before.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The logo should be innovative, clear, young, dynamic, adaptable and the most important factor is that it should have its own unique personality (since the product is the only one in its category).
We do NOT want a logo that seems conservative, old, rigid, complicated or without personality or its own unique identity.
