LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Kielo is a new management consulting firm that focuses on helping client to improve business performance, streamline processes and enhance operation & technology productivity. The name Kielo comes from a combination of "Key to success", "Fresh & Bold idea" and "Cielo = no limit (sky in Spanish)". In Finnish, Kielo means the flower "lily of the valley" and in an African language it means "the gate or door", both coincidently further echo the overall concept. Kielo marks a new and fresh beginning for the founder to venture on her own. It also denotes a new beginning for clients who choose to work with Kielo. Using fresh ideas and personable approach, Kielo apply creativity with best practices and tailor them to each clients and their business environment & culture. Most of all, Kielo delivers sound recommendations and lasting results. Kielo is based in the Chicago US and currently is small operation with 2 associates. Prior to the forming of Kielo, the founder has an extensive background working in various top global consulting firms in both business strategy and technology arena.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

Kielo is a brand new company. First we need a logo design that represents the concept and intent behind 'Kielo' as described above. The logo will be further expanded and designed as part of the company's identity system (business card, letterhead, etc). Website design will also follow once a logo is designed and selected.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

The initial target clients would be around mid to large size companies (private or public) in any industry segment. As the firm grows, Kielo plans to target larger companies with a global presence. We want the customers to think we are the new perspectives and fresh ideas but still bring the deep industry expertise and best practices into the process. We are fluid, fun and personable and we can flow with whatever the client situation or culture might be. Most of all, we are professionals and can deliver results. Try to differentiate ourselves from large consulting firm such as IBM, McKinsey, E&Y, KPMG etc.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We like clean, simple, 'less is more' kind of design asthestics. Type-based logo could work just as or more powerful than an eloborated graphic logo, but we don't want to limit the creativity. Since we do target corporate companies, we need it to be different, fresh yet professional-looking and none of the 'too fashionable', 'short-lived' or 'cute' design. The sound of "Kielo" sometimes leads people to relate the color 'yellow'. This could be an idea but it is NOT a requirement.
