Keglers Pub & Sports Bar is scheduled to open soon and needs a logo and typeface. It is a brand new establishment situated inside a recently renovated state-of-the-art bowling facility, Bowlerama (http://www.bowlerama.us/), which is located in a populated area of Delaware off a major roadway, so we would like for the logo to be catchy to attract new patrons. Bowlerama has been a family-owned facility for over 50 years and hosts various types of events, from birthday parties to bowling tournaments. Because of that, the logo should keep in mind that the facility caters to all ages.
Kegler is a bowling term (a person who bowls) but also includes the word keg, which we would like to incorporate into the logo. The keg should be the old-fashioned, wooden type (nothing too modern looking).
The logo should be a neutral palette, possibly accented with burgundy to flow with the exterior of the building. We would like to see a few options with the text layout; wrapped around the front of an old-style wooden keg as well as separate from the keg.
The new logo will be used for signage, menus, and all other marketing materials so we will need to see different color schemes and layouts to accommodate each use. It must be legible both in color and black & white (faxes, copies). It will need to read well placed on letterhead as well as on a large display.
We are excited to see what you come up with and will do our best to give helpful feedback and answer any questions or clarifications.
