LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are a hair care company on a mission to reinvent our brand with fresh, bright, eye-catching packaging with lots of shelf appeal. We want to create a new image for the company that combines natural, organic and smart with a touch of glamor, exoticism and sophistication.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo for a new plant-based line of natural hair care products targeted toward the eco-conscious, fashion-forward consumer. Many products in the line will focus on care of dread locks and all products will promote healthy hair growth. Less is more when it comes to impact, so the design need not be too elaborate or fussy, just clever and eye-catching. This logo should be able to translate easily from color to black and white. We will need both.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Women and men ages 18 - 40 looking new, natural products to address their hair care needs. We want them to think that this line is formulated with ingredients that are exotic, natural and of the highest quality.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Soap & Glory - we like the impact of the font, the creative way the ampersand is used as a design element, and the use of the circle. Aveda - we like the simplicity of the design and the clean sophistication of the font used, The Body Shop - we like the circular element that also conveys "natural" by hinting at a leaf design. Ferderic Fekkai - love the font. Metro Mint - love everyting about it, just beautiful!

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We welcome the subtle use of imagery that says "Jamaica" like a palm leaf, tree, coconut, hibiscus flower, etc. Not mandatory, but welcome.
