Fun, Innovation, Ideas-percolating
Our organization is a nonprofit called Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE, or we like to pronounce it "nifty"). We teach the skills and mindset of entrepreneurship to disadvantaged youth in middle schools and high schools across the country.
This logo is for a game that is part of our curriculum (Innovation Game!), where players create a new product idea from a kit of familiar materials: rubber bands, paper clips, straws, a paper plate, pipe cleaners, and a roll of packing tape to be precise. Each team then offers a 1-minute pitch to the group for a chance to win a prize. Our students love this game it is often that first wonderful moment that they recognize themselves as innovators and creative thinkers.
Weve decided to offer this game to our corporate partners, Fortune 500 companies, as a way to foster innovation and the entrepreneurial mindset in their employees. Well market it to HR departments, and the players will be employees across departments. Proceeds will benefit students in our program.
Wed like the tone of the logo to be fun, colorful, and evocative of creativity, experimentation, and ideation. The logo will be printed on a white label on the top and side of a literature mailer box (see link below) and used on marketing materials.
*I think the Chicago Startup Weekend logo attached below is a great example of the tone were going for.*
REGARDING THE NAME ITSELF:
We would be open to Innovation Game or The Innovation Game. Whichever strikes you creatively, please run with!
We do want this logo to look nice with NFTEs current logo, as well likely show the logo, presented by, and then the NFTE logo. NFTE logo can be viewed here (http://www.amwayinsider.com/?attachment_...), and I also attached below just in case.
Our World Series of Innovation logo (http://innovation.nfte.com/ and attached below), is a good example of what Im talking about. Stands well on its own but also looks nice with the little NFTE company logo down in the footer. :)
Id also like to share the NFTE color palette with you. Do not feel as if you have to stay in this palette (it would probably be nice to get some warm colors in our design!), but colors that you choose should be complementary to the color palette as it reflects our company logo:
