LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are an association of Energy Auditors (formerly known as the Illinois Association of Energy Raters), who is undergoing a branding change to reflect our changing role in this economy. 'Energy Ratings' serve to certify new or totally rehabbed homes as 'EPA Energy Star' if they meet some mandated efficiency minimums; the Ratings side of our members businesses has dropped off with the decline in the new home construction market, and very few outside the industry know what an Energy Rating is..
We want to clarify that we are also the best resource for Energy Audits that are performed by experienced, certified energy experts. We have recently changed our name to "Illinois Association of Energy Raters and Home Performance Professionals " to reflect that change.
We are also actively recruiting new Energy Auditors, and want to let them know we can help them get trained, certified, and help them keep current on the ever changing technical aspects of building science.
Our current website is located here:
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo that will translate well to black and white printing, while conveying the vibrant and dynamic nature of the market we serve. This logo will also serve as the cornerstone of a revamped website we will be developing; most likely as a submission on this site following logo selection.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We target the following audiences, in this order:
Residential Homeowners - Home Energy Audits - undertaken by certified experts who are keenly aware of comfort, safety, building durability, and efficiency issues that homes pose
Energy Aduitors - we provide them support services which allow them to become members of the RESNET network, our primary professional certification. We have many decades of experience between our various members and can offer member Energy Raters the technical and other associated support they require to offer top-notch services to their clients.
Home Builders - We will stll be providing them Energy Ratings
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We are open to all ideas. Logo submissions should lend themselves to both black and white print, as well as large full-color banners and signs that we will have printed.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
our original logo is included as an example: Something a bit more dynamic and readable would be preferred.
