LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

STR Partners (www.strpartners.com) is a service oriented architectural firm that believes in providing our clients with services and buildings that give them what they need to succeed. Success is the measured in how well our clients help to improve the human condition and how we help them to reach this goal. We believe that by serving our clients that we serve the world.

This is what we mean by holistic design. Holistic design is the basis of our whole view. Holistic design is inclusive of the points of view of stake holders both direct and indirect. Holistic design is inclusive of the physical and the spiritual. It is embodied in Mies van der Rohes spiritual statement Less is more and in Buckminster Fullers pragmatic statement More with less.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need an image to express what we see holistic design means. It is not a company logo. It is a visual symbol for stimulating and illustrating our explanations about what holistic design is. The diagram should be:

simple and easy to reproduce

expressive of the human condition

help to tell our story about what we feel is holistic design

Multiple parties

Multiple values

Multiple points of view

Multiple needs

Multiple possibilities

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

British Petroleum logo (BP)

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

MUST Have:

"Holism visually shown

Graphic and Graphically reproducible

Usable in both small scale and projected

A modern and progressive feeling

We were thinking of something that involves a circle of hands (see attached image) but this is not a must have. Just a thought.
