LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
WGWE, 105.9 FM is the new commercial radio station of the Seneca Nation of Indians, a sovereign Native American nation located in western New York. We're going on the air in January 2010 and need a hip new logo. We're broadcasting "Classic Hits" and Native American news and content for the Seneca Nation community and surrounding areas. It will be the "Voice of the Seneca Nation". We refer to the station as the GWE.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a new inventive logo for our radio station. It will be used for signage at our station and for branding purposes in ads and business contexts. We're looking for a design that incorporates our call letters -- WGWE -- and our dial number -- 105.9 FM. It could also incorporate what we call it -- the GWE. It should be modern, clean, hip and cool with a lot of energy. It should also have some kind of Native American influence. Our logo for our broadcasting company, Seneca Broadcasting, has a single feather. Some options should incorporate that, but in a more cool and hip way. We're trying to attract people with our logo. We'd like as many possibilities as we can get to see all the options.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our primary audience is citizens of the Seneca Nation. We're also broadcasting to surrounding communities. We want them to think of us as the "Voice of the Seneca Nation", but in a hip, modern, cool format. This is a Classic Hits and Seneca community radio station.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Here's our corporate logo -- www.senecaholdings.com -- we like the feather design, but it is too "corporate" and conservative for oiur radio station.
We also like this Mohawk radio station because it uses a feather as Native American influence. However, we don't like the color choice and it's a little busy:
We like this design because it's clever, but it needs a little more energy:

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We need our call sign (WGWE or "the GWE") and our dial number (105.9). We need some native influence.
