A logo that I can put on my website, business card and other marketing materials. I will be completely changing my web site so if you visit it don't think you have to make the logo work with what is there now.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Two words: Professional and trustworthy
It requires trust for people to hire me to come in and inspect their homes. I am young (26) and my business is new so homeowners may be skeptical about my credibility. I have the proper certifications, but I want a logo that will make me look more professional and trustworthy.
Most of my customers hire me because they want to be more comfortable in their house. Either they are too cold in the winter or too hot in the summer. My customers tend to be women (and mothers). They are intelligent and in the middle to upper income brackets. They own a home. They live in the Puget Sound area of Washington State. There is a niche market of homeowners who hire me because they want to do the right thing for the environment. Others want to save money on their utility bills.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
My logo will appear next to multiple other logos. Whatever logo you create does not have to match these logos, but it should not clash with them.
I will be working and co-branding with a local utility. See the uploaded file for their program (called HomePrint) logo and examples of their marketing materials that I can put my logo on. My logo will also appear next to the Energy Star logo: http://www.energystar.gov/
