Creative Brief

Who are you?

We are a business strategist/management consulting firm that works with business owners and c-level executives to create strategic advantage through the power of people. These engagements are large projects that involve every employee within an organization. Our approach to "changing the course of business" [see attached document] is rooted in the belief that you must have personal transformation(s) before you can have organizational transformation.

What do you need?

We are repositioning the company and making radical changes including an entirely new name, logo and look. This logo will be used on business cards and letterhead, as well as all marketing materials, slide shows, training materials, any promotional items and a website.
-Logo should be usable at different sizes.
-Should work in B&W as well as color.

Who Is Your Audience?

Most of the companies we work with have between $20M and $200M in revenues. The "buyer" is typically male (between 30-55 years old) but we often meet with lots of others in the company (Executive/Leadership teams, investors, Board of Directors, other management, etc.) during the sales cycle. We work across a variety of industries.


We Like These Examples

-Logos that are elegant in their simplicity. Less is more.
-Designs that really communicate the brand (see below).
-Logos where the graphic and text are so well-related and interwoven that they almost can't be separated. (Don't worry, I'll list some examples.)

Caution: Need to be careful of the font used as some start to look too much like a fraternity/sorority.
