What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
I want my logo to communicate elegance, beauty and modernity. My target demographic is a young, professional, well-educated woman between the ages of 20 and 40. Some of her favorite brands are Kate Spade, Tory Burch and J Crew. She loves to shop online, particularly at Gilt.com and Shopbop.com. She likes my jewelry because it is unique, memorable and feminine, but not so attention-grabbing that she can't wear my pieces every day, to work or class. My jewelry makes her feel beautiful, sophisticated and on trend. She buys my pieces because she knows that a young, professional woman like herself personally designed and made each item.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
I want a logo with text and an image, but would like to be able to use either separately depending on the location. Some logos I like: http://skitch.com/amysaper/sets/e51/logo.... I like the idea of having the image part of the logo consist of the letters "ac" (like the dara ettinger and kate spade examples) but I'm not married to that. I like both cursive (as long as it's easy to read) and print fonts. I prefer (but don't require) sans serif lower case fonts and want it to be one color, maybe two (my favorites are red and turquoise but I'm open to others).
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
I'm a designer/maker of handmade fine jewelry. My company is my first/middle names: Amy Carolyn. I specialize in beautiful, elegant, modern designs. Most of my pieces use gold components (like necklace chain and earring backs). I often use hand-dipped gold leaves, precious gemstones, gold hammered rings and occasionally vintage items like small keys and chandelier beads. I am looking for a logo that will mostly appear online, on my website, Twitter account, Facebook store and Etsy store. I will also use it on product packaging (most likely small canvas jewelry bags), and possibly business cards.
