Tell us what you need
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
I have attached a comprehensive Brief. This outlines the tone and directions we are looking for.
Datalens Health is a business intelligence company - Meaning we pull together information from existing IT systems to help companies make better business decisions. We focus solely on the healthcare market.
An example would be that we help a hospital get all the information so they could analyze how long the average hospital stay is.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Trust - Client's need to trust us with their business information
Intelligence - We are smart, but we also make our client's smarter by getting them the info they need
Healthcare Related - We only service healthcare businesses so we need to relate to them in look and feel
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
We see three possible directions for this logo - we would like each entry to align to one of these directions:
1) Text based consultant style the goal of this logo is to attractively and cleanly display the company name with a minimalist yet strong style.
Example: Cognos - http://bit.ly/oJYm3o Cognos does not use a brandmark but does good communication with just the text. They provide similar services to non-healthcare companies. Their goal is help you focus in on how to make your business better this is communicated in the logo through intersection point in the N.
2) Lens/Target style The goal for this logo is to play up the lens aspect of the name through a brandmark that has either a lens, target, or other viewing imagery
Example: Syntrix - http://www.syntrixconsulting.com/ They do a good job of incorporating a target within their lettering. The lettering is executed poorly but directionally very good.
3) Focus on Data Datalens will deliver better data to the client. The idea is that the brandmark should have something to do with numbers, data, or reports.
Example: Reports Lite http://bit.ly/ptO6AY This logo is too report focused but it shows that there are ways to display a brandmark around reports and data.
