Let me tell you about us.

Nightingale Media is a health 2.0 company that creates interactive media to help people make informed decisions about health and wellness products and services. The name "Nightingale" is evocative of the famous nurse, Florence Nightingale. That said, we do not want a literal figure of a nurse (or for that matter, the nightingale bird) in the logo. We're looking for a strong, fresh logo that represents both the creative mission of the company (personalizing and simplifying health information) and our data-driven mission (continuous optimization through web analytics).

NOTE: Nightingale Media will not be a consumer-facing brand. It's our corporate name and, therefore, the target audience are employees, recruits, and the business community.

Style and design likes and dislikes:

We're open to color palettes and typefaces, but tend to favor san serif and bold faces. "Nightingale" should have more emphasis than "Media", although you may want to play around with a NM mark. Think clean and sophisticated, nothing cute or intricate. Please, no 2.0-y reflections, etc. We want a classic.
